When and where do we meet?

We’ll meet at 204 E. Main in downtown Round Rock. It’s the former Keria Teas building, right next to Louisiana Longhorn Café (a great place for dinner!). We start the tour at 7:30 sharp, so please plan to arrive by 7:15 to pay. You can register online, or just show up!

What is the Round Rock Ghost Tour?

It’s a walk around historic downtown Round Rock, where we talk about the creepy real stories that folks who work here have told us. You’ll also learn about the history of Round Rock, and get introduced to some of the unique businesses on Main Street.

We walk up Round Rock’s Main Street, stopping at various buildings reported to be haunted, and tell you stories about what Main Street was like years ago.

What should I wear to the Ghost Tour?

Our tour traverses the sidewalks of Main Street, but we do go “off road” (into the grass) at one point, so we recommend closed-toed shoes to avoid bug bites. Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothes. We encourage you to bring water with you to stay hydrated.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept cash and checks, though cash is preferred.

Can I bring a camera?

Cameras are encouraged, as you might capture one of our ghosts! If you do capture anything exciting with a camera, we'd love for you to share the pictures with us on our blog!

How long does  the tour last?

The tour is about an hour and a half give or take 10 minutes. It’s a great way to start your evening!

Is the tour handicapped accessible?

The tour travels along streets and sidewalks, and it is a gradual slope – not very steep but there is an incline. We have had people on scooters on the tour, and we think a wheelchair could work, as long as you have someone you trusted pushing it! The overall tour is about two regular blocks and back again, for a total of four blocks, and we stop for 10-15 minutes for each story.

Is the tour appropriate for children?

The material discussed during the tour deals with murders, unusual deaths and some gore (not real gore, just the Hollywood variety). This might be too frightening for some children, so please gauge your child's tolerance of such subjects and plan accordingly. We also don’t want children to be a distraction for you or our guests, so please keep this in mind when planning. Most children over age 10 are just fine, pay attention and don’t get scared.

Does the tour continue through all weather?

We will travel through rain, but we must have 10 people to lead a tour, and generally folks don’t show up when it is actually raining. Check the weather at the time right before the tour – if it’s raining that afternoon, it may not rain that night – it usually cools off and feels great. Believe it or not, we have only been rained out twice. The skies usually clear for us. If we are under a severe weather watch or a very extreme weather situation, tours will be rescheduled.

Do you have to believe in ghosts to enjoy this tour?

No! We have guests who get “invited” (or dragged into) the tour and don’t buy any of it, but they leave with some knowledge of the history of the area. Of course, most people at least like to hear the creepy stories, even if they’re not sure what to believe.

Please sign up for our email list so you'll be informed when we plan tours in '08! Or, just keep your eyes on our website.

Meet at 204 E. Main Avenue (next to Louisana Longhorn Cafe). The price is just $13 per adult and $9 per child ages 15 and younger.
